Click Speed Check

1 Second CPS Test

The 1 second test is the purest measure of burst speed: no endurance, no pacing, just how many clicks you can physically land in a single second. It's also the least forgiving — a slow first click costs you a huge fraction of your window, so most players run it several times and keep their best.

How to approach the 1 second test

Because the whole test is one second, your first click matters more than any other — it both starts the timer and counts toward the score, so begin from a hovering, pre-tensed finger rather than a resting one. Typical results run higher per-second than any other duration: 7–9 clicks is normal, 10–12 is strong, and drag or butterfly technique can spike to 15+. Treat single runs as noise; do ten attempts back to back and judge yourself on the best three. If your 1 second score is barely above your 10 second average, your burst mechanics — not your stamina — are the thing to train.
